Bio

Mrs. Gallo (formerly Ms. Dunn) is the Library Media Specialist at Pike County High School.  She currently lives in Ozark with her husband, Ethan, and her daughter, Katy.  Mrs. Gallo completed a BA in English (Literature) from Auburn University, a MAEd in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix, a EdS in Instructional Technology from Auburn University at Montgomery, and a MLIS from the University of Alabama.  She is currently ABD (All But Dissertation) on her PhD in Instructional Leadership (Instructional Technology) at the University of Alabama.

Mrs. Gallo is a member of Mensa, Golden Key, Kappa Delta Pi, Phi Kappa Phi, and various library professional organizations.  She enjoys reading a variety of materials when she has the time and opportunity as well as tap dancing, painting, and crocheting.  She believes that everyone has something that helps keep them grounded and calm, and each person should devote some time to that hobby daily, even if it's only five minutes.

As librarian, Mrs. Gallo enjoys staying on top of the latest in books and instructional technology.  She is also a go-to for assistance with research and finding obscure facts about things.
