Brief Bio:

My name is Erica Shepherd and I am thrilled to say this is my 5th year being a part of the Pike County School Systems and my 4th year of serving as a Special Education teacher at Pike County High School. I am the mother of two loving daughters, Ashlyn and A’Niya. I grew up in the small town of Goshen, Alabama. I am a proud graduate of Goshen High School. I closed my final chapter at Goshen High School as a student with the magnificent graduating CLASS OF "2000."  I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Concordia College Selma in 2006 and a Master of Business Administration degree from South University in 2009.  I am currently pursuing a Master of Special Education degree, 6-12, from Auburn University Montgomery. I served as Director of a Home Health Agency and Administrative Assistant/Contract Specialist for Coca-Cola before transitioning from the Business field of 15 years and entering the Education field. Working with children is my passion. As a product of the Pike County School Systems, I find it rewarding to give back to my community and assist our students in achieving all of their dreams and goals in life. This year, I am excited to continuing serving the students of Pike County High School. I look forward to another great year cheering on our Bulldogs in all their endeavors. LETS GO BULLDAWGS!!!!!
