PCHS Junior selected as a finalist in the Future Black Leaders' Scholarship Program

Dekevion A. was chosen as one of the top ten finalists for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Alabama Future Black Leaders' Scholarship.

"The Future Black Leaders' Scholarhip is designed to help recognized and encourage high academic achievement, exceptional leadership, exemplary character and community service among high school juniors.

"Three students will be awarded a scholarship to the college of his or her choice. First place winner will receive $1200, second place will receive $800, and third place will receive $500.

"The top ten finalists will be honored at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival on February 12th along with a special performance of "Harriet's Return"...

PCHS is very proud of Dekevion's selection as a finalist in the Future Black Leaders' Scholarship Program. We wish the best of luck to Dekevion as he competes for the scholarship awards!
